Veekee James, born Victoria James on June 9, 1995, in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, has emerged as a prominent figure in the African fashion industry. Raised in Ajegunle, Lagos State, her interest in tailoring was sparked by her mother, a tailor, from whom she learned the art of garment making. This early exposure ignited her passion for fashion design, leading her to establish her brand, Veekee James, in 2019, a brand named after herself.
