Afrobeats artists have never failed to deliver in terms of new releases. No month has gone by this year without an artist releasing a song and an interesting visual to go side by side with it.
Whether new or old cat, indie or record label artists, there’s been lots of amazing music videos released in the past few months, as artists have decided not to keep their fans starving for too long.
But these are the most recent, released not more than two months ago.

10. Boyspyce (Talk): Since the official video isn’t out yet, Boy spyce decided to first put out a performance video just to express himself in visual representation. Talk performance video envisages how much of alot of things he has to say and be grateful for.

9. Vicoka (Port Harcourt): This music video tells his story of how he was born and bred in Port Harcourt, while also explaining the hardship his mum had to go through just to make sure him and his siblings survived. Vicoka is an indie artists who is gradually making waves in the industry.

8. Shallipopi ft Olamide (Order): This music was shot and directed by Jyde Ajala. Order describes putting a lady under control. The music video featured the last born of the Uzama’s as one of the vixens.

7. Phyno ft Arrdee (Time of my life): This music video showcases the flashy lifestyle by Phyno and Arrdee as they both describe it as having the time of their lives. Time of my Life is one track off his newly released album titled “Full time job”.

6. Ruger ft Tiwa savage (Toma Toma): Directed by Kevin Bar, the toma toma music video was basically about self appraisal and lavish. Ruger reminiscing about his journey in the music industry since 2021 and being grateful for where he is, showcasing it through lavish.

5. Bnxn ft Rema (Fi kan We Kan): Fi Kan We Kan is a Yoruba word for “comparison”. The music video which was directed by Mejia Alabi, featured a couple of Asian vixens who added flavour to the story telling and making the song it’s come alive through images.

4. Davido ft YG Marley (Awuke): Following the recent releases of new tracks in the industry, Davido’s entrance for the year is a beautiful track titled “Awuke”. The music video was directed by DAPS, who did well in portraying the essence of the song with beautiful female vixens.

3. Young jonn (Sooner): One of the afrobeats producers who suddenly switched to become an artist, hasn’t failed to blow our minds on every release. Sooner, one of his latest singles, was released along side the music video which was directed by mediakids, showcases strength in a teenager who lost a loved one but came back stronger to winning ways.

2. Blaqbonez (Emeka dance): In his recent EP release titled “Of many colors”: Orange, Emeka dance is the first track where he plays with his sound. Directed by Folarin
Oludare, Emeka dance is just a crazy video with ex-convicts.

1. Qing Madi (Goosebumps): Falling head over heels for a criminal whose crime is top heartbreaking, Madi expresses how she feels via this visuals, as she’s seen being overly protective with her crush criminal.
