Sodamola Oluseye Desmond, known by his stage name DJ Spinall, is one of Nigeria’s most innovative and celebrated DJs, both on the continent and globally. Born on June 2, 1984, in Lagos, Nigeria, Spinall’s music journey began during his university days. He gained prominence in 2004 when He joined the legendary Nite Shift Coliseum as their official DJ. This platform provided him with exposure to larger audiences and helped him refine his craft. His big break came when he joined the prestigious record label Mavin Records as their official DJ in 2013.
DJ Spinall is recognised as the first African DJ to tour the United States extensively, playing in major cities like New York, Atlanta, and Miami. He also broke barriers as the first Nigerian DJ to perform at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival in the UK.
