Wizard Chan A.K.A the Big Masquerade or native doctor, is a Nigerian Reggae, afro soul singer & songwriter whose real name is Fuayefika Maxwell.
He was born and bred in Okrika, Rivers state, Nigeria, which is also his state of origin. He was born on the 26th of June.
Asides singing and writing songs, Wizard Chan is also a music producer. He graduated with a degree in marketing at the prestigious Wisconsin International University in Accra, Ghana. He is the youngest of 5 children.
His musical career kick started in 2020 when he released his first single Halo halo, but became a global recognition in December 2022 when he released his hit single Earth song. This song earned him the Best Alternative song of the year award at the headies and Galaxy music awards in 2023.

His unique sound is incorporated with the ijaw language which he uses to create melodious and spiritual music. His music blends a variety of genres cutting across, hip hop, highlife, reggae.
Known for his distinct fashion sense, this earned him the name Native Doctor as he’s always seen in flowing black trousers.
In 2024, the native doctor released his debut Extended play (EP) titled Time Traveller which features 8 tracks and highlights his growth as an artist alongside putting Nigerian indigenous music on the global stage.
Wizard Chan’s creative process is rooted in realistic experiences. He tries to make every song a potential hit. His ambition is to collaborate with artists like Burna boy, Damian Marley, 2baba.
